design trends I’m lovin’ | watercolor

Warmer weather draws my eye to watercolors. I’m loving seeing lvibrant watercolors as a growing trend in home accessories and fashion. Like these stunning DIY painted votives I spotted over at oncewed.com. Makes me want to run over and buy some gold paint and water color my table linen!

I especially LOVE these two paintings by watercolor artist Michelle Armas.

Her work never ceases to inspire me.

Have a great week, friends.

Happy Friday + Birthday Tablescape for Bright.Bazaar

Happy weekend friends. This has been a very productive week. Insane busy but also really fun. And fun is what inspired this party tablescape I created and styled for Mr. Bright.Bazaar’s recent birthday. Happy, happy Will.

Pinwheels, wish flags made by guests, streamer chandelier, diy spoon artwork, Claudia’s amazing patterned stationery, custom coasters and matchboxes all come together for a cheerful bright birthday party for our fav brit, Will. A peek but check out the full feature here.

Have a fantastic weekend. xo

3 reasons I should get a vintage trailer

Before I list the three reason I should get a vintage trailer, I have to admit that I have never been inside of one. Just thought you should know.

So, there is no real explanation to why I have been obsessed with them lately, other than how adorable they can be!

So my first reason.

1. I can park it in my yard and use it as a studio and home office.

2. Dexter-friendly travel. No more airplane restrictions for large dogs or no-pet policy on amtrak, finding dog-friendly hotels…. Hello, beach, countryside and vineyards.

3. I am dying to decorate and host a party in one. JUST think how fun it would be to gut one out and give it a brand new look!

Anyone ever done something like this? Where would I even look a vintage trailer?
