It’s cocktail’o'clock and I still have a few more hours of work ahead of me..

Its been a LOOOONG week with not enough hours to get everything on  my to-do list done. But SO glad it’s the weekend. I cant wait to play with my besties, go to the movies, sip sparkling beverages, slip into something backless {hubby surprised me with a couple of sexy numbers recently which I cant wait to wear} and let loose.

Kicking off with a nod to Pantone‘s color of the year: tangerine tango. When used thoughtfully and in smaller doses {think accent pillows, trims, lamp shade, area rugs..etc} this color can add that much needed bold burst of cheerful sunshine to any decor or outfit. I especially like pairing it with softer neutral fabrics and dark walls. I’m looking forward to introducing tangerine tango to some of my looks this year.

How do you feel about using tangerine tango in your home? do you love or loathe it?

New Year’s Eve on my mind and I these outfits are totally getting me in the party mood. Sparkly sequins, crocodile leather clutches and bows… I;m loving the sequins pants on Katie paired with an understated-but-super-cool denim button-down shirt but also the sexy polka dot top with a bow paired with a black pencil shirt. decisions..decisions..

It’s been a while since I posted anything fashion-related. So what better way to start this brand new week than with a few looks and details I’m loving {and sporting} this month?

Layering is great to transform outfits from day to night, especially in December when cocktail parties and social events follow work appointments nearly everyday, leaving little to no-time to change outfits between engagements. My go-to details: neutral tones, sequins, tall boots, lace and faux fur, sexy backlines, infinity scarfs, cobalt anything, skinny pants, blazers and plenty of layers to keep me warm. What fashion details are you into lately?

Being back in India makes me wish I had more opportunities to wear black chiffon saris in DC. Dont they look fabulously sexy? Might as well add a couple to my wardrobe while Im here.. Am so going to rock one this holiday season under a faux fur jacket of course…
