Happy new week, friends. Trust the weekend treated you well. Fruity colors such as peaches, apricots, plums and tangerines have been dominating my moodboards lately. Paired with nudes, sand and beachy blues I am having so much fun decorating with these summery hues.

Changes on the work-front got this first week of the new year off to a challenging start. Our non-profit let us go. Today is my last day there. S**t crap happens.

Someone wise told me that something good falls apart so that even better things can fall together. My main focus this weekend will be a tablescape photo shoot which Im so so excited about. Wish me luck!

Fortified with optimism, I have decided:

• that this year is going to be amazing.

• to stop to look around for the endless possibilities that await me.
• that when I get sad, I will stop being sad and be awesome instead. (via the ever wise NPH b/c Doogie is a genius)

• to not be afraid to dream bigger.

• to wear more pretty dresses.

• to not give up champagne. In fact, I think we need to get better acquainted.

• to do what I love

• purge and organize my closet.

• to make time to read more books.

• get back into kicking-ass at scrabble

And MOST important – I have decided to start living the life I imagine.

Since you asked so nicely – here is a peek at the color palette for my holiday decor this year.

Technically, its still Fall but I am feeling pale shades of winter today – especially dirty pinks. Which is what inspired me to put this moodboard together. Almost the weekend  loves. xo

Happy Halloween weekend.

I don’t care much for Halloween. Its not that I mind the costumes or trick or treating. Its just that my birthday falls on the day before Halloween, and growing up Halloween was the most obvious theme for most of my birthday parties, I am a little burned out on this holiday. Being in Buenos Aires for this birthday it is very refreshing to celebrate my day without costumes and spooky everywhere!

If I was planning a Halloween party it would probably be on the lines of a glamorous-goth affair. Im thinking feathers, lace, leather and sexy masks. A color palette of black and white with pops of copper and red.
