He really did. It was kind of cute and flattering. He looked like he loved it so that made me happy. But this also means you will have to wait until Friday to see what I was working on. I will tell you this, my lil Dexter does have good taste   Until then, I pulled some pretty awesome looking rooms from my Pinterest likes.

Personal tastes aside, could we just agree on how beautifully styled these rooms are? And, the dark oversize accents/furnitures/features in white-rooms trend is making me happy. Darker-toned piece such as a chandelier, rug, window, and table anchor a bright room while adding definition. Bring in patterns and colors using throw pillows and you have a great space to build on.

I’m dreaming of a stylish cabana for our backyard. I’d love one of these modern and chic designs with stripes, trimmings, the works. I would dress it up with sexy poofs, my succulents, lanterns, side tables and comfy loungers…..

I can just image hubby and me relaxing in our garden in one of these, keeping us cool under the shade, playing scrabble, reading our fav books and mags, while sipping a refreshing beverage with bubbles. Oh wouldnt they be insanely fabulous for entertaining friends?  Yes, I am so ready to take our backyard soirees to the next level!

Speaking of backyards. We found Cardinals nesting in our yard recently and then today saw them teaching their newborns to fly.  It was all so cute and really tugged my hearts strings. . I could watch them all day. I see them hopping around the yard as I type this.

We have a long weekend here in the US for memorial day, yay!! We’re hosting a little BBQ party and putting the finishing touches on the basement. You guys,  I love what we did with the space!! I cant WAIT to show pics of it.

After kicking some SERIOUS butt at the gym this week, I feel MUCH closer to my goal of getting myself into better shape before summer starts. While my body feels great, its time to show it little TLC and work up a different kind of sweat. The kind that involves party shoes and sexy dresses.

I’m going to slip into something backless paired with higher heels, pour bubbly in my favorite stemware and enjoy the next few days with my husband and friends. One thing my weekend will NOT include is leaning over high balconies, and neither should yours.

Well, hello April! It would be great if we could have less rain, more sunshine and the usual amount of flowers please.

Im digging this little lacy coverup which has me dreaming of a quick beachy getaway involving spa treatments overlooking turquoise blue sea and unwinding to the sound of waves. Would that be fab? Well, it might not happen this weekend but I know there will be some beach time in the near future for me.

Did I mention I have been meaning to get bangs like these for like months? Feeling a bit adventurous so I just might end up at the salon this weekend.
