After a long work day, I am ready to kick back and unwind.
These stylish, elegant, cozy-with-pops of glamor that give a feeling of luxury bedroom suites would be great! I like something in all of them. Which is what makes it so hard for me to decide how I want to decorate my master bedroom suite. Of course an unlimited decorating budget would be great too!
Tomorrow’s giveaway is sooo pretty that I want some for myself… ..you’ll see.

Dont ever throw away old brushes, they are so useful to clean all sorts of things, especially block printing stamps and silk screens, says julia – owner of handcrafted green designs jewelweeds.
I love julia’s soft and organic designs, inspired by natural beauty.
Even though she has been featured everywhere, I JUST found her and her beautiful designs today via Sweetpaulmagazine, my latest addiction!!
Seriously, if you are not already following sweet paul magazine, what are you waiting for? Its the freshest, most stylish and utterly delicious magazine on the block!

Clearly the most popular color of this year, turquoise and its cousins, teal, sea-green, pale blue, tiffany blue, are everywhere be it fashion, accessories or interiors.
If you are looking for more ideas to introduce this color in your home, try using it on your tabletop.
Pair it with deeper blues and greens
It also pairs really well with pinks and fuscia.

Or for a really fresh look, and my personal fav combo this season, tiffany blue and salmon. ps: im working on a tabletop using this palette as we speak. pics soon.

Say hello to monday and the unlimited possibilities of a brand new week.
To start this week, I want to share a few bits of my backyard which is starting to come back to life.
A regular to our garden, he keeps us company. he often brings his friends along and they entertain us with their upbeat chirps.
another regular to our garden. I was planting herbs when he came to play.
i had to run around for a while before he finally sat down long enough for me to take this pic.
pretty tulips
i love this plant – lambs ears. he looks great in this spot so i decided to bring him a friend.
snap dragons in soft colors
blue cascade and more tulips
Yesterday, we hired a U-haul and went to our fav plant nursery to bring home a weeping blue cascade. It is still young, so we can manipulate its branches. We also saw some amazing deals for trees at home depot so we got a weeping cherry, weeping willow, pear and cherry trees, a tall cypres and a blue princess holly to go next to our other two blue princess holly. A lot of planting ahead of us.
the new issue of lonnymag is out on their updated website. I’ll be sharing some of my fav bits from this issue with you in just a bit. Also, this month mochatini turns TWO!! can you believe that? to celebrate, I have a few (very seelct) giveaways coming your way starting tomorrow. stay tuned. Have a fab week ahead!

Over at decorology, I found out issue two of nesting newbies is out. This issue is even better than the first. Packed with great cooking, entertaining and decorating ideas, it also features some gorgeous tabletop decor. Since I love color, I was instantly in love with this moroccan inspired tablescape. This decor, a fav at DIFFA’s dining by design in San Francisco, was designed by Patrice Cowan Bevans interiors.

Sorry I have been a bit slow on this monthly feature. Its been a really busy week. I have been working on creating new blogs for friends and clients. ps: If you would like a blog, banner and buttons designed, please keep me in mind. I offer very reasonable package options starting at $60. I am setting up a site dedicated to this but until then if you are a new blogger or just looking to refresh the look and style of your blog, email me mochatiniblog{at}gmail{dot}com.
Now, back to inspiring interiors. This eclectic living room was featured in the latest issue of lonnymag.
Designed by betsy burham for a client, I love the unexpected pops of color and the accessories used which add so much character to the room. And I want the GORGEOUS hermes tray!

I know I have tons to do, but I couldnt resist featuring this tablescape featured in the latest Lonny Magazine. Simple but big on style. How chic are the marble salt n peper cellars and appetizer plates from CB? Birch votives and candles also from CB.
I also really like the choice of flowers and those slate boards as placemats are so clever!
