Over at decorology, I found out issue two of nesting newbies is out. This issue is even better than the first. Packed with great cooking, entertaining and decorating ideas, it also features some gorgeous tabletop decor. Since I love color, I was instantly in love with this moroccan inspired tablescape. This decor, a fav at DIFFA’s dining by design in San Francisco, was designed by Patrice Cowan Bevans interiors.

Now, back to inspiring interiors. This eclectic living room was featured in the latest issue of lonnymag.

Designed by betsy burham for a client, I love the unexpected pops of color and the accessories used which add so much character to the room. And I want the GORGEOUS hermes tray!

This tabletop was featured in Gourmet magazine, and I have had it posted on my inspiration board for a while. I like the bird centerpiece the most, but also the butterfly napkins, the gold/blue bowl, and the tablecloth.

Hello dears. I’m back from the beautiful island of Abaco in the Bahamas. We had such a FANTASTIC time. Its was nice to be a beach bum and enjoy the island lifestyle. We spent our time lounging on the beach drinking rum punches, sailing on turquoise waters, snorkeling, kayaking and more. For the first three days we stayed in a lovely cabana by ourselves and the last two with the family in a huge 3 bedroom cottage, both steps away from the beach. You would absolutely love the decor too! I have about a thousand pictures to download and sort through. Of course, I’ll be putting together a lil destination guide for you too. Meanwhile, here’s a glimpse of our time there.

I leave you with a few pages from November issue of living etc, one of the few shelter magazines that is still standing. Have a super weekend darlings.

Phew! TGIF! An incredibly busy week comes to an end.
My week was dominated by multiple visits to the doctor due to my fractured toe and a couple of visits to Baltimore. All this didnt leave me much time to blog, but I hope you enjoyed this week’s inspirations. Thanks for your comments and emails.
Today, the hub and I are going up to NYC to see some of our friends. As always, I have a great time in new york. Have I mentioned how much I miss living there?
I guess its true what they say – you only begin to truly appreciate new york after you leave!

I wish you all a great weekend. See you Monday sweeties!
xoxo
