hope these pretties help your monday blues. they did mine.
did i mention i have a HUGE fallen branch in my yard? I’m amazed it didnt cause any damage. Its going to be a big pain to take care of it. in other news, we lost power for about ten seconds during the short storm that hit this area yesterday. Lots of homes and businesses lost power for hour and there were fallen branches, leaves, trees on streets. Did your area get any part of the storm?

So it was a great first day and I am totally up for my new challenge and new job! Which is to help individuals and companies reduce their carbon footprint. You know how much I LOVE being good to the environment.
Ok, now i have to figure out my blogging schedule so it isnt too late in the day for my European and Asian readers. It wont be tomorrow but I am working on it. Hopefully, this weekend, in addition to my Maui round-up.

Woohoo! Its friday… and a happy friday to you all. This has been a FANTASTIC week.
The shoot went really well. Mochatini’s birthday, which we celebrated by doing some shopping and followed by champagne + awesome chinese dinner.
Special thanks to all the guest bloggers who have made mochatini even more special. In case you missed this week’s, it was the amazing Monika of splendid willow. Thank you all for the dozens of emails + comments from you! They really keep me going. You are the BEST!!! muah!
And you know who else is the best? My hubby 
He’s taking me to Hawaii for a week. Yippee yay.. I have never been to Hawaii so I CANNOT wait!
Just lying on the beach sipping some fruity cocktail..looking forward to an authentic luau and hoping to spot a couple of humpback whales too. I’d love to take you all with me, but since I cant, I promise to share my experience when I’m back.
off to pack my bikinis, dresses and several pretty white numbers – a long flowy dress, a short dress with ruffles, a lacy tunic and a shirt dress, linen pants and shorts.

Here’s some dreamy eye candy for you. The work of a very talented photographer Alice Wingerden has had me captivated since I first came across her work on simply hue.
Alice’s soft and romantic style is almost magical. She loves a monochromatic palette, has a super eye for details and I admire the use of vintage and antique finds in her photographs. Each pic appears to tell a compelling story.

I didnt plan on posting mostly white entryways. What can I say? I seem to be naturally drawn to them. You dont want to hear bright or white or fresh anymore so I wont say it. I’ll say Dutch instead. This mod rustic entryway is from the portfolio of Dutch photographer Jeltje.
Great use of the glass apothecary bottles. And isnt the vintage milk can gorgeous? I like the casual framing of the photograph too.
